About North Star Yacht Service

North Star Yacht Service

Our Story Begins at the Dock

North Star Yacht Service was established to raise the standard for marine upholstery in San Diego. What started as a local shop with a focus on quality has grown into a reliable source for boat owners across Southern California. We have never lost sight of our core mission: deliver craftsmanship that stands up to life on the water.

Experience That Shows in the Details

Our team has spent years working directly with boats, crews, & materials that demand performance. This background drives the level of care we bring to each project. From restoring faded interiors to building custom canvas solutions, we apply knowledge that comes from real time in the field. Our clients include both casual boaters & experienced yacht owners who trust us to protect & enhance their investments.

Values That Guide Every Project

We believe good work comes from discipline, communication, and pride in the outcome. That means giving honest advice, meeting project timelines, and keeping quality at the center of everything we do. We do not outsource any part of the process. Every item we deliver is designed, fabricated, and finished by skilled hands that take ownership of the final result.

Proudly Serving San Diego & Beyond

We work with clients across San Diego County and neighboring areas including National City, Chula Vista, Coronado, Dana Point, Newport Beach, and Orange County. Every location we serve benefits from local insight and responsive support.
